A Particle Vision from the Beyond

"Starseer"

A swirling storm of particles forms a surreal iris — vibrant, celestial, and unnervingly still. At its core lies a void, a pure black pupil that feels less like an eye and more like a portal. Radiating outwards, waves of golden ochre and cosmic blue clash and dissolve into powdered whites, like solar winds or divine brushstrokes. The piece dances between abstraction and recognition, reminiscent of both a galaxy and a glance.

What started as a technical experiment with particle behavior quickly evolved into something more metaphysical. My aim was to design a digital "eye" that didn't just look real, but felt sentient — haunting and sublime at the same time.

Using particle systems, I sculpted the flow of data into expressive chaos, fine-tuning velocities, falloffs, and density to mimic natural phenomena while retaining a painterly soul. The idea was to bridge art history and simulation — a moment of cosmic introspection in motionless form.
